My experience with Jan and Wendee was AWESOME! I bought my first home and walked into a white box. I was desperate. I moved from a mountain of clutter and vowed that I would never ever live like that again. I first found Jan from Simple Organizing by Jan and she hooked me up with Wendee of Versatile Designs.
The organizing was awesome. I finally had a direction of how to start and follow through. We laughed and tossed! I felt so much lighter in my mind and spirit! I have in the past spent so much money on things to organize that I didn't need and things just piled up. I now know about "piles" and the importance of staying on task. I ended up with a place for everything and everything in it's place. Got rid of all the dead weight. Trust me, you do not need or use most of the things you own but we feel that we need to cart them around from place to place looking for a place for them.
When I was ready for the decorating, Wendee was reading me like a book! I explained my style and what I liked (don't even think I needed to do that because the woman could really read my mind.) I had to give very little input and I would come home and I would have such fun surprises waiting for me! I didn't want to see it end! My home is so beautiful and I feel that we did it together. I can walk through my door and feel that I am truly in the environment that I was meant to be in. She has an exquisite sense of style and eye for exactly what the client needs! Did I say client? I felt like family.
The cost of my whole experience was so much less than I had expected from an organizer and a designer. I never thought I could afford what I thought was out of my price range but what I found was a team that had my best interest at heart and down to earth prices!
I would still be flailing and spending money but instead I am done, happy and proud to have made the decision to spend some time and money on me. In the process, I have made awesome friends, and I would recommend these two women to anybody that needs help but thinks they cannot afford it. THEY ARE AWESOME, FUNNY, PROFESSIONAL, AFFORDABLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. No time wasted. No money wasted.

To whom it may concern,
I met Wendee at my place of employment and we hit it off right away. When I found out that she did interior design I was excited because we wanted to do an addition to our house but didn't know how to design it. I started by emailing her with questions and finally invited her to come to our house so she could see what we had to work with. She was very good at listening to what we wanted and what we liked. My husband was having a hard time visualizing what it would all look like. Wendee took home with her some pictures that I had collected and all the ideas we had talked about. Then she drew up some drawings and brought them over to us. It all came together for my husband and myself to visualize what we could do and what it would look like. She is extremely helpful and listens to what you say and what you want, then she puts it down on paper to give the visual that you need.
We would very much recommend Wendee as a designer.

Hi, Wendee!
I’d like to thank you for helping me plan and design my master bedroom suite and master bath. Frankly, I had 3 other people working on this project but you were the only one to actually see my vision! The design is perfect and I can’t wait until the project is complete.
You not only hit my vision right on the button but you’ve also come up with cost effective ways to keep it within my budget!
