About Wendee
I have a degree in Interior Design and was an employee of my Mom's wallpapering business for many years. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado and spent my summers in the dairy lands of Wisconsin, needless to say I love dirt and fresh air! Dave, my husband, and I have happily been together for almost 21 years. Together, we have survived 6 earthquakes, our "close neighbors" house (8 feet from ours) catching of fire, a hurricane category wind storm and the birth and growth of our two children. Noah is a fifth grader and Zoey is a three year old who, will tell you she is 17, goes to the best daycare. (* That would be Ms. Debbie at The Sunsine Patch daycare)
We have lived in Maple Valley since 1994 . I graduated from Highline Community College in Des Moines WA and interned at Rodda Paint Company. From there I continued on to various design and display jobs, in 1992 I opened my own business Versatile Designs.
Having my own business allows me the opportunity to be with my kids when they need me and have the abliliy to create incredible interiors for my clients.
Design is a very strong passion of mine and making someone's space reflect who they are gives me tremendous joy. My clientele include The Avalon Clinic in Tacoma , Mama Passarelli's in Black Diamond, Edward Jones in Lake Wilderness Village and 103.7 The Mountain--they were broadcasting live, interviewing me as I worked in the studio (no pressure)!
I offer a variety of services from hourly consultations to a workbook that gives clients a working plan of their home from start to finish. It allows them the opportunity to do things at their own pace, keep an eye on their budget, as well as pick and choose projects they may need to hire out for or DIY projects they would like to do themselves.
I am so blessed that my career gives me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and create beautiful spaces where precious memories can be shared.
